50 Miles, or More, Between Origin and Destination, But Within the Same State
There are many movers in Springfield, Oregon, but only one has the Bekins name and affiliation. Cross Town Movers Incorporated has long been an authorized agent for Bekins Van Lines and has been moving Northwest families for 25 years. Wherever people move from and to, we go – across the state. If you are moving somewhere across the State of Oregon from where you are now (and it’s more than 50 miles away), you are looking at an intrastate (or “within the same state”) move.

We’re proud to be one of the best moving companies in Springfield, Oregon. We hire and retain the top relocation specialists in the area. Our men are full-time staff, we never use temporary labor like most of our competitors. We require top performance from our staff day in and day out and you can expect this on your local move. Our men are clean-cut, courteous, but most of all experienced at relocating your goods safely and efficiently.
On all moves, our staff arrive at your door in one of our fully-equipped 24 ft. moving trucks. We inspect all of our equipment 3 times a year to ensure that our vehicles not only perform but are also safe for our drivers. Our trucks are equipped with large stacks of thick furniture blankets to properly protect your goods. Our state-of-the-art magnesium hand trucks and appliance dollies make loading a breeze. Our men are also equipped with rug runners to protect your carpets, door jamb pads to protect your doorway, and tools to disassemble and reassemble items like your beds. We also provide wardrobes to move the contents of your closets, free of charge, as long as they are emptied and returned at the end of your move.
We offer full packing services. Our “white glove” packing crews arrive at your door, equipped with all of the needed moving boxes and materials. We can do the entire pack, which typically takes place the day before the move, or just a portion of the packing…whichever works best for you.
How it works: We provide up to 5 wardrobe boxes for your local or intrastate move, free of charge. Here’s how it works: if you are doing your own packing, we recommend that you pack everything but the hanging clothing in the closets. When our staff arrive, we have your wardrobe boxes already assembled and ready to load. You can load the clothing in yourself to save time or our staff are happy to load them for you. As long as the wardrobes are unloaded and we come back with them, they are free!
We are fully licensed with the state of Oregon and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT# 266290). All of our crew are covered by workers compensation, liability insurance for the company, and cargo insurance that covers your goods in transit. We extend to you our guarantee that you will be satisfied with our services! We arrive on time, in uniform and equipped with clean, state-of-the-art moving equipment to ensure safe and efficient transport. We constantly strive to improve and monitor quality of work from the top to the bottom within our organization and this will be evident through our superior level of service.
Our commitment to our customers is that we consistently go above and beyond their expectations. We provide the highest quality relocation service available, bar none. So for your next local move, leave it up to us, you’ll be glad you did.
